I always practice the cliche, “When life throws you lemons, make lemonade”, daily. Being plus-size most of my adult life, I have definitely had moments both bitter and sweet. Sharing some of those bitter and sweet moments that leave us vulnerable could really be of help to those struggling with insecurities and acceptance from society as well as themselves.

@Soshenell is the mastermind and orchestrator of this project, but aligning with some heavy hitters and influencers from the community helped bring this look book to life. Within the pages you will find Moments of both vulnerability and strength that is projected from each page as you flip through, so don’t flip too fast. Reading each of the ladies stories along with mine was empowering within itself and I feel compelled to get it in the hands of as many plus size individuals both young and old to help them remain encouraged and to love and live life to the fullest.
