Everyone knows my name is in fact Ashley, but being named Ashley Stewart 2017 takes on an entirely different meaning!!!! I absolutely love this brand and what it stands for, and I feel I embody Ashley Stewart each and every day.

Thanks to my manager/photog @charissolutionsphotograpy, I was introduced to the #Findingashleystewart contest for 2017 being held a few miles down the road in Houston Texas!!!! I read the details and felt the experience would be an opportunity to, improve my skills as a model through the auditioning process, be around a ton of like-minded individuals already making their way in the industry, and make good use of all potential networking opportunities. What happened next is still like a dream to me!

I registered as one of almost 100 women to have a chance to rip the #FindingAshleyStewart runway to show Houston Spring the Ashley Stewart way. After a walk in front of the judges and a question and answer, they narrowed it down to 12. I made the cut!!!! I was one step closer to becoming Ashley Stewart 2017! As the final 12, we had our photos and video taken at the Step and Repeat, were given our gift bags, and strict instructions to ensure the following day would be a success!!!

The day was just that, a success!!! Upon arrival, we were all treated with the best care. Thank you to @Cremeofnature with the #LovingYouCurvesTour for sponsoring such an amazing event! We could not have pulled it all off without the amazing skills of The Franklin Institute stylists, the beautiful Tamara Ivey, and everyone apart of Team Ashley!! Everyone looked so beautiful in Ashley’s Spring line. All of the support from Houston was phenomenal!! We were all awesome and each embodied “Ashley” by rising to the occasion that day! All of the ladies were beautiful both inside and out and we bonded as if it was not a competition at all.

To seal the deal on one of my best weekends to date, I have the honor and privilege of being one of not 2, but 3 Finalists from Houston in the #FindingAshleyStewart contest. This takes me one step closer to bringing the crown home to Texas!!! I am representing every woman in my quest for this title and I do and will embody everything this brand stands for!! I understand that Ashley Stewart is more than just a brand, it’s a movement, and I AM Ashley!!!
